About Authors

Dr. Riki Chakraborty is specialized in Indian Philosophy and has got B.A. (Hons) and M.A. degree from Visva-Bharati and Ph.D. degree from the University of North Bengal on The Theory of Nirvikalpaka Perception in Navya Nyāya. She has been teaching Philosophy since the last twenty years and at present she is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy, University B.T. and Evening College, Coochbehar, W.B. under the University of North Bengal. She has earlier edited a book entitled: Good Governance: Some Ethical Issues, and also published a dozen of research papers in different reputed journals. She has a research bent of mind having interest in varied fields.
