About Authors

Dr A.K. Sinha (b. 1958) is currently Professor in Social Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. To his credit are more than one hundred and fifty publications. He has authored Eight books, co-authored five books and edited one volume. He has been teaching Social Anthropology since 1987. His major interests include Tribal studies, Anthropology of food, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Gender Studies and Medical Anthropology.
