About Authors

Professor (Dr.) Kanti Lal Das is Professor at the Department of Philosophy, University of North Bengal. His specialization includes Philosophy of Language, Logic, Contemporary theory of Justice, Ethics and Religion. Apart from this volume, he has written four other books, namely The Philosophical Relevance of Language (2006), Symbolic Logic in Bengali Version (2010), Language, Truth and Logic (2011), A Handbook of Set Theory (2014) and also co-edited and edited several books, namely Language and Reality (2006), Language and Ontology (2008), Language, Culture and Value (2010), Language and Communication (2018). He has published more than 45 articles in various leading journals in India and abroad. He has completed two major Research Projects of Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), New Delhi. He has been conferred SHIKSHARATNA AWARD, 2020 by the West Bengal Government.
